One of the Len\u00f4tre private dining rooms at the prestigious Le Pr\u00e9 Catelan, the three-Michelin-starred restaurant in Paris, is now fitted with an Arketex printed acoustic ceiling.<\/p>\n\n

As part of the renovation, this private salon faced a major challenge: improving poor acoustics while preserving the elegance and historical character of the space.<\/p>\n\n

As often happens in fine dining restaurants, generous volumes and noble materials tend to amplify reverberation. Conversations overlap, sound levels rise quickly, and the guest experience suffers. In a venue of this caliber, every detail matters \u2014 including acoustic comfort. <\/p>\n\n

Our intervention consisted of installing a printed acoustic ceiling combined with a high-performance acoustic backing. The objective was clear: absorb unwanted noise, reduce reverberation and restore a refined, intimate atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n

At Le Pr\u00e9 Catelan, however, technical performance could not be separated from aesthetics.<\/p>\n\n

A Ch\u00e2teau Fresco, Restored and Reinterpreted<\/h2>\n\n

The interior designer wished to reproduce the ceiling of a ch\u00e2teau located in the Paris region. We carried out a high-resolution photographic capture on site to preserve every ornamental detail.<\/p>\n\n

The fresco, naturally aged over time, displayed softened and slightly faded tones. Meanwhile, the room\u2019s design had already been defined around a specific palette \u2014 notably a fresh, luminous green featured in the carpet. Our graphic studio undertook meticulous digital restoration.\u2028Each leaf was carefully reworked.\u2028Each tone subtly adjusted. <\/p>\n\n

The aim was not to alter the artwork, but to reinterpret it delicately so that it would harmonize perfectly with the architectural vision. This stage demands patience, precision and complete mastery of color calibration. It is comparable to heritage restoration \u2014 translated into a digital process. <\/p>\n\n

The fresco was then adapted to the exact dimensions of the ceiling, taking into account the room\u2019s geometry and the central oculus. The design frames the natural light like a contemporary rosette, creating a dialogue between heritage and innovation. <\/p>\n\n
