It goes beyond combustibility alone and also takes into account two critical factors: <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the quantity and speed of smoke release<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the potential formation of flaming droplets or debris<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>This holistic approach allows for a more realistic evaluation of fire risks.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What does the Euroclass B-s1,d0 rating mean?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>Arketex\u00ae fabrics are fireproof and classified B-s1,d0, this classification is mandatory for textile materials used in ceilings in public access buildings.Here is how to interpret it.<\/p>\n\n<p>Decryption.<\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>B<\/strong><br\/>The letter B indicates that the material is<strong> low combustible.<\/strong><br\/>By comparison, a material classified A is non-combustible, while a material classified E is highly flammable and promotes flame spread. Class B represents an excellent level of performance for flexible and textile materials. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>s1<\/strong><br\/>The \u201cs\u201d stands for <em>smoke<\/em>.<br\/>A s1 rating means that the material releases <strong>very little smoke<\/strong> during combustion, both in terms of quantity and speed.
